At Arbor House Portland our mission is to provide culturally-specific and gender-specific residential and wrap-around recovery services for women, non-binary, and femme-identifying individuals in recovery from substance use disorder.
We work from a relational-cultural perspective that emphasizes connection, community, wellness, and mental health services along with the wisdom of traditional 12-step approaches.
Since 2018 we’ve been providing a continuum of services that includes peer-support, built-in mental health services, resume-building and vocational guidance, assistance in navigating social services, assistance in navigating criminal and family court, access to personal trainer and on-site gym, and integration into our alumni network and the greater Portland recovery community.
SCOPE OF SERVICES:
Live-in onsite house manager
Onsite addictions/mental health counselor (biweekly meetings)
Onsite Certified Recovery Mentor (CRM) (biweekly meetings)
Onsite drug and alcohol testing (twice-a-week at minimum)
Rich alumni network with opportunities for sponsorship, mentorship, and peer support.
Onsite house meeting (once-a-week)
Onsite gym and certified personal trainer
Resume building and job placement services
Assistance navigating social services
Assistance navigating criminal court and family court
